Made by a big brother, for a little one

Jo is eight. His little brother Otto is four. Over one summer Jo and their dad built a game together — Jo drawing worlds and deciding what should chase the hero, dad turning it into something that runs on an iPad.

They needed a hero, and the choice was obvious. So Otto got a yellow jacket, green trousers, very short legs and absolutely no sense of direction. Then they dropped him in a maze.

THE NAME JOJO Games is Jo and Jo(hn) — the two who made it. The game is named after the four-year-old it was made for.

What came out is a game you play with one finger. Put it on Otto and drag; he follows your fingertip like ink from a pen. Walk into a dead end and a monster pops out of the wall. And shortly after you set off, the trail behind you catches fire — keep moving and the spark can never catch you. Stop to think for too long and it will.

Ten hand-painted worlds, 75 mazes, and a very silly ending we are not going to spoil. No advertising, nothing to buy, nothing collected about anyone. Just a game.
